The Council offers tiered professional credentials recognising demonstrated expertise, ethical practice, and adherence to published standards.
Certified AI Professional
For practising AI professionals with documented experience in AI development, deployment, or governance. The foundational credential of the Council.
Senior AI Fellow
For senior practitioners with significant contributions to AI standards, research, or responsible deployment. Requires CAIP standing and peer endorsement.
Council-Accredited AI Organisation
For organisations that demonstrate alignment with Council standards across their AI operations, governance structures, and professional development practices.
Certification Process
Certification through the Council requires:
- i. Documented professional experience in AI development, deployment, governance, or research.
- ii. Demonstrated alignment with the Council's Professional Competency Framework.
- iii. Peer review and endorsement by existing certified professionals or Founding Council members.
- iv. Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
The Council's inaugural certification cycle will open to qualified applicants following ratification of the Professional Competency Framework.
